Do you have any feedback from any of the patients trying MM?
Secondly – a follow up to that blood work of my dads – he had a bone marrow test and turns out he has the following condition:
Peripheral blood with mild macrocytic anemia.”
Then there is the actual bone marrow analysis.
Cellularity …. the normocellular % is 40% which is normal for my age.
Basically something that could be genetic and that he has had for a long time. Conventional treatment is wait and watch… Any thoughts or insight?
W.
W,
I haven’t used “The Miracle Mineral Solution” (chlorine dioxide) it in my practice. I have had a few patients use it on their own, though I’ve never heard any rave testimonials about it. Personally, I’m not going to be using it.
As far as your dad’s diagnosis goes, I have had other patients with similar diagnosis and have referred them out to various integrative medical clinics to receive treatments I can’t perform at my practice.
When you see this type of blood test result you would naturally think leukemia/lymphoma. This would need to be ruled in or out. Another thing I would like to rule in or out is, zinc excess or copper deficiency. Here is a link to what I’m talking about. Hypocupremia (copper deficiency) and bone marrow failure. This is important because if it’s part of the puzzle, resolution can’t occur unless the issue is also addressed.
The common denominator in treatment for all has been monthly sessions of IV vitamin C and ongoing LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) therapy. The patients I’m referring to have all had a diagnosis of leukemia (CLL mainly) or lymphoma (both Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkins).
Supplement wise has been: alpha lipoic acid (can be added to the vitamin C drip), CoQ10 (100+ mg’s), astaxanthin (8-12 mg’s), Vitamin D3 (2000-6000 IU’s), NAC w/selenium & molybdenum (Now Foods 1000+ mg’s), folic acid/B12 (400 mcg’s/2000 mcg’s) and betaine HCl (200-600 mg’s, per meal) for proper absorption of iron and other minerals.
N-acetylcysteine (NAC) Benefits
Cancer Adjuvant Therapy (including NAC, CoQ10, selenium and alpha lipoic acid)
I hope this helps.

What is Krill Oil and What are the Benefits of Krill Oil?

What is Krill Oil?
Krill are tiny crustaceans that live in the cold, pristine waters of the Antarctic Ocean. Antarctic Krill are so plentiful that they are thought to be one of the most abundant animal species on earth, and are harvested as a renewable resource. Because their habitat is so remote, deep and cold, krill are free from harmful levels of heavy metals and toxins that may be found in some fish oil. Scientists and doctors have discovered that ingesting this oil can have amazing affects on your body including a stronger heart, pain-free joints, a better mood, lower cholesterol, easier menstruation and overall better health. Krill oil is a miraculous discovery from the deep pure waters of Antarctica that literally beats the pants off fish oil. When tested head to head by an independent laboratory our Krill oil was found to be 48x more powerful in antioxidant activity than fish oil! Pure krill oil from CAOH
Benefits of Krill Oil:
- Krill oil is incredibly rich in Omega-3s, Phospholipids, and Astaxanthin
- Krill oil contains vitamin E, vitamin A, vitamin D and canthaxanthin, which is – like astaxanthin – a potent anti-oxidant. The anti-oxidant potency of krill oil is such that when compared to fish oil in terms of ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorptance Capacity) values, it was found to be 48 times more potent than fish oil.
Why Krill Oil from California Academy of Health?
- Is manufactured under strict quality control standards.
- Individually packed so each softgel is fresh and pure each time you take it.
- Is tested to be free of harmful levels of contaminants such as mercury and lead.

Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) found in seafood are associated with lower risk of heart disease

Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) found in seafood are associated with lower risk of heart disease, improved immune function, health advantages in preterm infants and possibly lower risk of suicide, according to new research. These findings and more are summarized in the December 2011 PUFA Newsletter and Fats of Life newsletters for health professionals and consumers, respectively.
One study reported that healthy adults with the highest consumption of fish had higher scores for two indicators of heart health – blood vessel cell function and less inflammation – compared with those who did not eat fish. Such observations suggest that eating fish regularly or supplementing with omega 3′s from fish oil, may help prevent heart disease.

Liquid Power Multi-V or Ultra Supreme Greens and Fruits or Both?
I have been taking your Liquid Power Multi-V and your Mangosteen Elxir and I love it! I am very interested in your Ultra Supreme Greens & Fruits and I just wanted to know is taking the liquid power multi-v and the Greens & Fruits a good idea or is it too much and I only need one. I noticed the Greens & Fruits has a decent amount of vitamins in it already. If I only need one which one do you recommend and if you recommend both how do you recommend I take them. Both at the same time in the morning to start my day or one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Thanks!
Answer: Jason,
Liquid Power is the base and you will build from there. Here are a few other ESSENTIALS.
A complex of essential fatty acids Ultra Omega 3-6-9 and Lecithin granules (lecithin in the emulsifier that allows you to metabolize the oils, plus the brain is 30% lecithin, and it’s good for cholesterol metabolism).
Whey Protein: Proteins are essential parts of all living organisms and participate in every process within our cells. Protein is also what makes up our muscles, immune system, internal organs, hair, nails, skin, and connective tissue. Whether your body resembles a brick house, stick house, or straw house is determined by the level of protein in your body. When a client comes in for a consultation with weak nails, poor hair growth, a weak immune system, and/or low energy, I always know they are deficient in their intake of (quality) protein. I usually take one scoop a day (25 grams of protein), but two scoops on the days I am working out in the gym.
Vitamin D is mandatory for all of my patients – 5-6,000IU’s per day (see www.vitamindcouncil.org for more data)
Here is a protocol I put together some time back.
I hope this helps.

CoQ10 plays a crucial part in your body’s energy production

Question: I have a question about your Liquid Coenzyme Q10.” If your needs only require 25 mg per day , then our exclusive liquid formulation with essential fatty acids can be easily adjusted to a 60 day supply.” My question is how do measure 25 mg on a daily basis.
Answer: Robert,
CoQ10 plays a crucial part in your body’s energy production. It’s found in every one of your mitochondrial cells; they are responsible for converting fats and sugars into ATP… which is your body’s main source of energy. In fact, 95% of your body’s energy is said to come from this source. However when natural CoQ10 levels are inadequate, even the basic metabolic functions of these cells are impaired.
For adults, the typical recommended supplemental dosage is reportedly around 30mg to 200mg daily. Younger, healthy adults tend to be on the lower end of that range.
½ + ¼ teaspoon or our Liquid CoQ10 Formula will give you 30mg’s. Now, this is just my two cents on the subject of dosage: After 22 years of practicing holistic medicine, I have found that the therapeutic dose of CoQ10 starts at around 120mg’s per day (1/2 Tbsp 2x/day). In some of my patients I’m going as high as 1000mg’s per day to achieve our desired result.
Let me know your thoughts on this.

How many times a day should I use Whey Protein Isolate Plus?

Question: Hey Dr Ettinger, can you please tell me how many times a day I should use your Whey Protein Gold Isolate Plus and would that dose be different if I had sickle cell anemia? Thanks ahead for your time.
David
Answer: David,
The dose of the our protein isolate would be once per day unless you are using it as a meal replacement (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
Note: It is important to have five to nine daily servings of green, red, and yellow vegetables, fruits, or juices that are rich in antioxidants and other important nutrients. Some research suggests that antioxidant foods or supplements (such as Vitamin E, Vitamin C, CoQ10 (our CoQ10 has the C and E in it!) and Resveratrol) may help inhibit the formation of the dense cells that trigger a sickle-cell crisis. I would also take Liquid Complete B complex (1 teaspoon 2x/day) to help with better cell differentiation.
Let me know what you think of this idea. Take care.
Sincerely,
