Goji Juice for a Stroke?

Q: Dear Doctor; How are you today? I have been reading a lot about the Goji Berry and I think it sounds great. I would like to know , after reading about all the curing powers for cancer and everything else, how it could help my Father-in-law who has had 2 strokes in the past 4 years. Now he cannot speak sentences, just a few words. From what I understand, the electrical part in the brain that sends the message (or Sentence) cannot get through to the speech part of the brain. Therefore he is limited to just single or double word responses . Will this Goji juice have any effect to help him get the messages through the brain and out through his lips into sentences? I await your reply Thank you
Doug
A: Doug, I have to be completely honest with you, I have no idea how or if it will help your father-in-law. My father had a stroke 8 years ago and I loaded him up on every antioxidant I could find and he recovered (I am not 100% sure what caused him to recover completely).
I do know this; our goji juice with 250mg of vitamin C per 30ml is not going to hurt.
I hope this helped.
Sincerely,

‘Sound Science’ Is Killing Us – by Joel Salatin

LINK – This is a must read!
This “point of view” article expresses feelings and thoughts I have had for almost 20 years. Don’t get me wrong, science is truly valuable and we need clinical trials to validate the effectiveness and safety of a given product; we also need ethics, morals, responsibility, consumer over-site, and the truth!
The tuff part here, is that we have only a few unacknowledged heroes looking out for the unaware masses.
The average consumer is like an ostrich with its head buried in the sand. When there is something bad or confrontational looming, hide the head (ignore the issue) and leave the body exposed (receive the effects but with the brain shut off it doesn’t matter).
The average consumer is also like the lemming which will mindlessly follow the crowd, even if destruction or death is the result.
“Ignorance is bliss” can be a true statement. It is difficult enough to search out and discover what the truth is, and it is even harder to acknowledge, confront and be at cause over the truth once it’s discovered.
It’s far easier being unknowingly at effect than it is being knowingly at cause. Another way of looking at it is: it is far easier to feel a pain, take a medication to numb the pain and never discover the pains origin (ignorance), than it would be to feel the pain, confront the pain, discover the pains origin, confront that, correct the underlying cause of the pain, and confront all that it entails (cause).
The time is now to take responsibility for what is occurring around us. The only person who is looking out for you is you. If we wait for the government or big business to fix things it will be too late.

First, I am not sure what you mean by “neuro problem”.

I am providing you with a link that is really the only sure fire way to lose weight and keep it off. It is not just for weight loss, it’s how we should eat every day.

Can Goji, Noni, or Mangosteen Treat My Deperssion?
Q: I am looking for an alternative method to treat depression, which would be better, noni, mangosteen or goji to take?
Thank you
Brenda
A: Dear Brenda,
Goji history states that is also was known as the “happy berry”. Goji, noni, and mangosteen fruit juices are nutritious and ok for us to consume daily. My two cents worth of advice is this: Production is the basis for morale. When we are active (busy doing anything) we don’t dwell on the things that can make us depressed and our brain produces happy neurotransmitters. Studies prove that active people experience far fewer episodes of depression than their non-active counterparts.
Lastly, there are tons of websites devoted to natural treatments for depression. I hope this helped.

Q: I give my grandson who is 10 years old 1 ounce of Goji juice in the morning should I up it to 2? He has allergies and sneezes a lot.
Please let me know?
June
A: Dear June,
From my clinical experience, most allergies in kids are a direct result of milk drinking and/or nutritional deficiencies. Learn more about milk here.
Goji is great and being a fruit juice it isn’t harmful.

Yes it is. Acai juice, like Mangosteen juice, or goji juice, or noni juice, is just a really healthy and nutritious fruit juice.

Liquid GHR-Pro+ or Liquid Natural H.R.T.

Q: 1. Does the Liquid GHR-Pro+ and the Liquid natural H.R.T Advanced do the same thing. After reading the product information in your catalog I thought they had different functions.
2. Would I be overdosing on hormones if I took BOTH products?
3. Should I wait and save it until I finish the first bottle? If so, which one should I take first?
Questions, questions, questions. Sorry, I’m trying to reverse 60 years of hazardous living…lol.
Thank you. Gloria S.
A: Dear Gloria,
1. No they don’t. One is a phytoestrogen supplement and the other is contains HGH precursors.
2. No you wouldn’t; it’s ok to take both.
3. That is up to you, though taking both may give you an amazing synergistic effect. A dynamic state in which the combined action is favored over the sum of individual component actions.
4. I would still add Liquid Power at some point.
Sincerely,
Marcus Ettinger DC, BSc.
