Thank you for your most recent reply to my questions regarding “Vibe”. I now have another question for you.
We are currently taking Mangosteen Elixir and Liquid Power. My husband, however, recently completed a tough round of chemo due to large B-Cell Lymphoma – the aggressive type. He was stage 2 (tonsils and one lymph node in his neck). His physician watches him closely, completing Cat Scans and blood work every 90 days. In July of 2007 we will be 2 years post Chemo. I thought the Mangosteen would be an excellent compliment to the Liquid Power but now I am wondering if the Acai-Max would be better for him.
I would appreciate your thoughts.
Thank you for taking your time to help all of us. Your input is extremely valuable!
Sincerely,
P. Whitehead

Noni and the Prostate

Q: How does the noni juice stack up with the anti-oxidants in the muscadine grape and does this have any affect on the prostrate.
A: Dear Linwood,
Muscadine Grape Seed Extract is a potent antioxidant that has a concentrated source of oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC’s). These anti-oxidants help protect cells from free radical damage and can also promote healthy circulation.
Noni is also a fruit rich in antioxidants, it’s one of natures most special fruits.
“Dr. E’ Golden Antioxidant Rules”
1. There are no bad antioxidants.
2. The more antioxidants you consume the better.
3. The broader the variety of antioxidants you consume the better.

Many Jamaicans use local traditional remedies for treatment of urologic disease. The juice from the Noni fruit (Morinda citrifolia) has been heavily promoted in the Jamaican media as a cure-all, including as a treatment for prostate cancer.
I have also read some anecdotal evidence showing noni helping (BPH) prostate swelling. I personally don’t know if it does or doesn’t.

Total Detox & Bowel Movements

Hi Dr. E.,
I’ve been taking the Total Detox for over a week; and I have a question or two. I was really expecting at least 2-3 bowel movements/day. Sometimes I have one, sometimes none! I’m thinking maybe I’m using too much water? I don’t think it said “How Much” water or juice to use. I first started using 30 drops then increased it to 40 but I’m not getting any better results. Will you let me know if I’m doing something wrong?
Thanx,
L.W.
L.W,
The biggest misconception of body detoxification is that you will have increased bowel movements. It is possible to have them but most people don’t. As most toxin is dumped into the colon the opposite phenomenon usually occurs, constipation. To counteract this you need to drink upwards of 64oz of distilled water a day and increase your fiber intake. Eat one mixed fruit salad and one mixed vegetable salad a day. On your vegetable salad use only olive oil, sea salt, pepper and spices for dressing.
You are not doing anything wrong. 1-3 bowel movements a day is normal. Just because you are doing a cleanse doesn’t mean you will increase automatically increase your bowel movements.
Sincerely,Marcus Ettinger DC, BSc.
