Xango Patent?

Question: What is the difference between your Mangosteen Elixir and Xango, which claims to have a patent on the fruit and the pericap?
Thank you
Richard Main
Answer: Richard,
Please read these posts (follow the link) and see if they help to answer your questions. If you have a specific question afterwards, e-mail me back.
Sincerely,
Marcus Ettinger DC, BSc.
P.S. For kicks, e-mail Xango and ask them to send you a copy or a link to “their” patent. IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure you have a cushy chair, the last two years of National Geographic and Mad Magazine, and a stock pile of food because you may have a bit of a wait.

Mangosteen Elixir – Xanthones and % of Juice

Q:…now for some questions. My son Calvin, has been in touch with you a couple of times inquiring about your products, particularly your Mangosteen Elixir. I would like to know what the comparison is, in the percentage of Mangosteen in Xango, to the percentage in your Mangosteen Elixir I know that you also offer more health benefit juices (Goji and Noni juices) but as you can see, this is a very important fact for us as Bills’ health depends on his constant intake of Mangosteen.
I am very pleased with what I am learning about your company and about yourself.
It is probably better that I have stated everything on paper (so to speak) so that you can digest what I have informed you about and can give me qualified answers.
1. How many Xanthones in your Mangosteen Elixir?
2. % of Mangosteen juice to % of other ingredients?
3. How long have you been producing and selling Mangosteen?
4. And as asked above – What is the % comparison between Mangosteen in your juice and Mangosteen in Xango?
My son Cal is 100% behind your company and from what he has told me, I am very interested too, but would appreciate answers to the above questions as we have so much at stake.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to your answers.

A: Dear Patty,
Our Mangosteen Elixir is everything Xango is and more.
1. How many Xanthones in your Mangosteen Elixir?
There are over 40 isolated Xanthones in mangosteen and CAOH’s Mangosteen Elixir has all of them.
2. % of Mangosteen juice to % of other ingredients?
We have a higher % of Mangosteen in our juice than Xango. Ours is over 60% Mangosteen.
We also add Goji, Noni, Black Elderberry, Pomegranate, Red Raspberry and Blueberry Juice which makes up the other 40%. Our proprietary blend is more expensive to produce and possesses far higher antioxidant levels.
Xango’s base is primarily Apple, Pear and Grape. These fruit juices taste great but add very little to its health benefits. (Apple, pear and white grape juices are very cheap, which helps Xango to pay their big, multi-level-marketing, down-line commissions).
3. How long have you been producing and selling Mangosteen?
Since 2002
4. And as asked above – What is the % comparison between Mangosteen in your juice and Mangosteen in Xango?
Xango, an MLM product, does not release that data so I don’t know their % of Magosteen. Ours is 60%.
Based on the overall juice blend CAOH’s Mangosteen Elixir is hands down a better product.
Sincerely
